Engraved bricks adorn the walkway to the oceanfront with endearing messages, Bible verses and special words of hope to remember those who have lost their lives to cancer, and those continuing their fight with other life-threatening diseases. This hallowed place, which began as a tribute to Buff Taylor Koch, who lost her life at an early age from breast cancer, continues to be an exceptional spot for beach goers who have had engagement, wedding and special occasion pictures taken in this “Memory Garden by the Sea.” Erected and maintained solely by the Buff Foundation, Incorporated.
